Getting paid

The 10% fee, why there is no withdraw button, and what each payout status means.

When the client approves the work, the escrow releases. Freelo deducts a flat 10% platform fee and sends the rest to the bank account you verified during KYC.

There is no withdraw button

Freelo does not hold a balance for you. There is no wallet to top up or cash out — each payout is transferred to your bank account directly. Your Payouts page is a history of those transfers, not an account balance.

Payout statuses

StatusWhat it means
Pending approvalQueued. Being prepared for transfer.
ProcessingOn its way to your bank.
PaidSent. It should be in your account shortly.
On holdNeeds a manual check. Support will contact you.

Bank transfers are not instant. "Paid" means Freelo has sent it; your bank decides when it lands.

The fee, concretely

On a Rp 5.000.000 contract you receive Rp 4.500.000. There is no separate withdrawal charge, no monthly fee, and nothing is deducted for applying or for being on the platform. The one fee is taken once, at release.
