Where your money is, at every step.

Most marketplaces explain their features. We would rather explain your money — because that is what you are trusting us with. Here is the whole journey of one Rp 10.000.000 contract.

  1. 01

    Post a job

Describe the work, set a budget range, attach files. Posting is free and takes minutes. Only identity-verified talents can apply.

Your money: still in your bank account.

  2. 02

    Compare proposals, chat, negotiate

Talents apply with a bid. Every applicant shows a verified-identity badge, skills, rate and reviews from past contracts. Chat directly, counter their bid, agree on terms.

Your money: still yours. No fee for talking.

  3. 03

Hire — and fund the escrow

    Awaiting client funding

Accepting a bid creates a contract at the agreed amount. You fund it by card through DOKU, our licensed Indonesian payment processor. The money is held by Freelo — the talent cannot touch it, and work starts only once it is funded.

Your money: Rp 10.000.000 held in escrow. Not paid out.

  4. 04

    The talent works and delivers

    Delivered

Progress happens in the contract chat. When the work is ready, the talent marks it delivered — nothing is paid automatically.

Your money: still in escrow while you review.

  5. 05

You approve — the escrow releases

    Completed

Only your approval moves the money. Freelo takes a flat 10% fee from the talent side and pays the rest to their KYC-verified bank account.

Your money: Rp 10.000.000 released — Rp 9.000.000 to the talent, Rp 1.000.000 platform fee.

  6. 06

    If something goes wrong: dispute

    Disputed

Either side can open a dispute on a funded contract. The escrow freezes immediately. You talk it through in chat; if you cannot agree, Freelo reviews the full history — messages, deliveries, timeline — and decides a binding split. A full refund is a possible outcome.

Your money: frozen until resolved. Nobody can move it — including us, until a decision is made.

That's the whole system. No fine print.
