Fees, and who pays what
Posting and applying are free of charge. Freelo takes a flat 10% from the talent's payout.
Freelo charges one fee, in one place. There are no listing fees, no subscription, no withdrawal charge, and no percentage added on top of what the client pays.
| Action | Cost |
|---|---|
| Posting a job | Free |
| Chatting and negotiating | Free |
| Applying to a job (talent) | 1 apply token — 10 free every month |
| Funding a contract (client) | The agreed contract amount, nothing added |
| Escrow release (talent) | 10% platform fee, deducted from the payout |
A worked example
On a Rp 10.000.000 contract: the client is charged Rp 10.000.000 and nothing more. When the client approves the work, the talent receives Rp 9.000.000 and Freelo keeps Rp 1.000.000.
Both sides should know this number. The client's cost is the contract amount; the talent's take-home is the contract amount minus 10%. Agree on bids with that in mind.
After a dispute
If a dispute splits the escrow, the fee applies the same way — the talent receives their share minus 10%, and the client's share is refunded in full to the card they paid with.
